I graduated from TWU with a bachelors in Kinesiology, Pre-Physical Therapy. Transitioned an internship into a career as an Exercise Physiologist in a Cardiac Rehabilitation clinic. Heart rate is a very important tool for when it comes to fat loss vs. weight loss – and it’s my favorite expertise! I have been personal training, online training and certified as a nutrition specialist in fitness & sports nutrition since 2013. Recently certified as an FRC Mobility Specialist. I have a passion for bodybuilding/aesthetics; starting out, I placed first in one of the most competitive bodybuilding competitions, The Ronnie Coleman classic (1st out of 500 contestants). I continued to compete and won overall, and ranked top 10 nation-wide as a bikini competitor. Aesthetics is fun, but strength training is really what stole my heart. In 2016, I entered a strongwoman competition and placed 3rd in Texas. It’s really amazing what the body can do, once you put your mind to it. I love a challenge and helping people of all walks of life reach their goals, plus more. Shaping your best self. Let’s sweat!

There will be a 20 minute follow-up call (within 24 hours upon receiving plan) scheduled with you and Athena to go over any questions you might have. She is available via email or text 24/7 for questions after that call.

Yes. My training plans are developed based on the needs of the client and can be managed from home, a park or gym – anywhere in the world.

I believe food always comes first. However, in my plans, I may suggest the use of vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients and amino acids. Clients are not required to use these recommended supplements. They are purely optional.

Absolutely. I personally adjust the programs according to the goals and needs of each individual client. If your goal is to increase muscle mass, the plan is tailored with that in mind creating caloric surpluses instead of deficits as seen in weight loss plans. All of my programs prioritize health, so whether it is weight loss, weight gain, or to stay fit, I can help.

No, most individuals should not work out every single day. Your program will be customized for your needs and goals. Someone who has never worked out before might start at 1-2 training days per week, while someone who is very advanced might be training 5-6 days per week.

We stay in contact several times weekly through email or phone call/text, and I monitor you through an online platform which can be accessed anywhere in the world from a device with an Internet connection.

Within the same week – the following Sunday from when you submit you will receive a customized plan.

All clients will fill out an extensive, yet important profile questionnaire with information about your weight, height, lifestyle and nutrition habits. And also completion of my Initial Program Packet – (fillable PDF), and a detailed 3-5 day food journal. We also recommend obtaining more accurate body composition measurements such as body fat percentage. Check with your local gym or training facility to see if they have equipment to perform these tests.

Yes & Yes. I have online training plans focused on muscle groups tailored to the individual client’s goals and I also personal train in the Dallas area.
